What is Killat Collective?
Killat Collective is a community of cycling and outdoor enthusiasts. We are creators of products and services that help you squeeze the most fun out of your life.
Where are you based?
Cape Town and Amsterdam.
What kind of bags do you produce?
We are on a mission to produce the ultimate everyday use bags for the active consumer, ranging from small hip bags to backpacks that can be used on both a morning hike and in the office.
Where are your bags produced?
Our bags are hand-made in Cape Town, with South African dyed cotton as a base. We strive to source, sew and distribute our products in the most sustainable way and by doing so actively reducing the negative impact on the planet.
I’m a cyclist, which bag should I use?
The Kota Moon is your go-to bag if you want to use it on both your handlebar and your back. It allows you to take all the basics on the road such as a pump, spare tires, a tool, and a banana (what else do you need?).
What if I need more space?
The Wax Moon is a larger bag that you can also use on the handlebar. We advise you use it in combination with a small porter rack.
I’m a photographer, do you have something in my range?
The Wax Moon is your go-to bag.
I’m looking for a small bag, which one should I choose?
The New Moon is a postcard-size bag and your go-to option if you want to carry your everyday equipment such as phone, keys, and a wallet
Do you have other cycling bags such as toptube bags and other bags that I can use for bike packing?
Not right now.
Do you produce other stuff than bags?
We produce small batches of t-shirts and sweaters. Visit the apparel part of our site to find out what is currently available. We also produce bikes.
